
TOYS AND DEVELOPMENT
Your child's development is at a critical juncture. Help him or her strengthen creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, even motor skills and inter-personal relationship skills with the toys you choose.
Based on recommendations from Elementary School teachers, use the following guide to help you in your toy selection. All of the recommended toys are available from All-American Baby, and are made in the USA.
Creativity and Problem-Solving skills can be developed through creative play with trains and other wood toys.
Building Blocks are and excellent tool for promoting Problem-Solving skills, Spatial Understanding, and Motor Skills, as well as Early Math Skills
Early Math Skills, such as shapes, counting, spatial relationships and problem solving, not to mention beginnings of telling time can be developed with our Hickory Dickory Dock Clock.
Role-play develops important Creative Thinking skills, as well as Interpersonal Relationship Skills and aids in Emotional Development...Stuffed Animals are for more than just snuggling and decoration! Dolls and soft animal toys, along with Puppet Theaters can be wonderful and helpful props to encourage imagination.
